April 3, 2016 (San Diego) -- The Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation (MTRP) is pleased to present an exhibition featuring an award-winning artist Marilyn Hallam.

This exhibit will be on display in the Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor Center Art Gallery April 23 – May 20, 2016.  The public is cordially invited to a reception in honor of the artists on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. 

About the Artist:

Marilyn Hallam: A plein air painter in the U.S. and Europe, Marilyn Hadley Hallam graduated cum laude with a BA in Fine Art from SJSU and later attended an Art Conservation course at the Louvre in Paris. She is a member of La Mesa Lions Club, East County Art Association and a member and former Vice President of the San Diego Watercolor Society. Marilyn also raises money for art education in East County schools through the San Diego Museum of Art. Her paintings are in local, U.S., State of Colorado and international collections.

The MTRP Visitor and Interpretive Center is located at One Father Junipero Serra Trail, San Diego, CA 92119, and it is open daily from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Admission is free.

The MTRP Foundation was formed in 1988 as a 501(c) (3) non-profit public benefit corporation.
