AUTHORS MEETING MAY 21 IN ALPINE

East County News Service

May 5, 2016 (Alpine) – Join the Nonfiction Authors Association’s San Diego Chapter for their monthly meeting, held on Saturday, May 21 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Janet’s Montana Cafe (2506 Alpine Blvd. in Alpine).
This month’s meeting will be a Self-Publishing Roundtable Discussion. We all have our strengths and weaknesses when it comes to self-publishing and self-promotion, so let’s trade tips for navigating the many publishing and distribution options currently available, as well as ideas for promoting ourselves and our books.

Chapter Leader Laura Roberts will direct a free-flowing discussion aimed at helping participants learn from each other’s successes and mistakes. Come ready to share some of your latest marketing and self-promotion attempts (and with their outcomes), as well as any websites, tools or suggestions you’d like to share with the group.

BONUS: All attendees who RSVP in advance will receive copies of Laura’s books, A Cheater’s Guide to NaNoWriMo and Confessions of a 3-Day Novelist.
