CITY HEIGHTS RESIDENT BURNED IN APARTMENT FIRE

November 28, 2012 (City Heights) -- A resident suffered burns and was transported to a hospital in CPR status early this morning, Incident Page Network reports. The fire occurred in apartment at 4974 Marlborough Drive in City Heights.

The blaze was reported at 2:15 a.m. by a resident in the building. Fire crews from San DIego Fire arrived and knocked down the blaze by 2:32 a.m. Cause is under investigation.

ECM news partner 10 News reports that the victim was taken to UCSD medical center. The building sustained $50,000 in damage as well as an estimated $25,000 in damage to the contents.
