September 23, 2016 (San Diego) – Goodwill Southern California (GSC) will officially kick-off its Halloween shopping season at 8 am (one hour early), Saturday, September 24 at all of its 81 stores. The retailer brings back its popular Halloween BOO-Tiques, providing shoppers with EVERYTHING Halloween.
GSC’s Halloween BOO-Tiques have become known as one of Southern California’s most popular one-stop shops for finding deeply discounted Halloween costumes and accessories. Featuring Halloween-inspired costumes, make-up, home decorations and props, shopping at GSC’s Halloween BOO-Tiques has become as big of a tradition among Southern California shoppers as the holiday itself. Introducing a new Halloween Mask section in each BOO-Tique, Ray Tellez, Vice President of Retail Operations for GSC, says he thinks that this year’s Boo-Tiques are the best that he’s seen in years.
“Each year our staff spends anywhere from three to five months preparing for Halloween,” continues Tellez. “This year we have done an exceptional job finding unique items for our shoppers. I think that the response will be tremendous.”
Another feature making its debut in all of this year’s BOO-Tiques is a pictorial costume Look Book that features a varity of costume inspirations. Some of this year’s costume inspirations include Zombie Prom Queen, Day of the Dead Reveler, 1920s Great Gatsby, Pirates of the Caribbean, Comic-Con, Totally 80’s, Once Upon a Time, Presidential Candidates, Olympic Champions, Flower Power 70’s, and Steampunk.
Goodwill Southern California’s Halloween BOO-Tiques will run from Saturday, September 24th through October 31. Shoppers are encouraged to shop early at all of Goodwill Southern California’s 81 Stores in Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
