

November 19, 2013 (San Diego) -– Construction crews will close eastbound State Route 52 (SR-52) on Tuesday and Wednesday nights and again on Saturday night for paving and striping, according to Caltrans. The closures are part of an ongoing project to repair the dips in the pavement which is anticipated to be completed by winter 2014. On Tuesday and Wednesday, eastbound SR-52 will be closed from Convoy Street to Kearny Villa Road from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
On Saturday, eastbound SR-52 will be closed from Convoy Street to Kearny Villa Road from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday.
Eastbound and westbound SR-52 on- and off-ramps at Convoy Street will also be closed for pavement work tonight and Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Signs will be posted advising motorists of the closures and available detours.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and safely move over a lane when Caltrans or other emergency vehicles are displaying flashing amber lights. It’s the law!
