LOST SPRING VALLEY BOY IS EN ROUTE HOME, SHERIFF REPORTS

sisterUpdate 4 p.m. - The Sheriff's Department has notified us that the family reports the missing boy and his sister are now en route home.

 

July 26, 2009 (Spring Valley)-- San Diego County Sheriff William D. Gore has just announced deployment of the department’s Search and Rescue Unit for Leandre Othel Weir, 9 years of age, of Spring Valley. (photo, left) Leandre, who goes by the names Lee and Andre, was reported missing by his grandmother last night. He had been missing since aroundy 7:00 p.m.

 

Last seen wearing a white T-shirt with a  monkey picture on the front, he has a light scar on his right cheek.He is four feet tall and weighs 92 pounds. He may be with his 19-year-old sister, Rejanae Roberts (photo, right).

 

 

The Search and Rescue Unit, comprised of specially-trained volunteers from around the county, were deployed this morning at 3:00. Approximately 25 people are assisting in the search for Leandre.
