June 6, 2018 (La Mesa) – Edward Cline was killed after a vehicle he was reportedly driving at a high rate of speed ran lights, then struck a Mustang. The collision occurred at 8:15 p.m. last night.

Cline was ejected and died at the scene.

The Mustang driver was injured and taken to a hospital but is expected to survive. There were no other occupants in either vehicle.

La Mesa Police Department is investigating and asks that any witnesses call the LMPD at (619) 667-1400.

An earlier version of this story stated that the Mustang struck another vehicle, however it was the Mustang that was hit.
