February 9, 2015 (San Diego's East County) - Author KB Schaller (Cherokee/Seminole heritage) was recently notified by Florida Authors and Publishers Association (FAPA), Inc., that her title, 100+ Native American Women Who Changed the World, would be included in the organization's display at Book Expo America (BEA)!

As announced during the FAPA Annual Awards Banquet, all 2014 Gold and Silver medalists will have their works displayed FREE of charge at Book Expo America!, which is the #1 book and author event in the USA.

Schaller's title won Gold in the biography category. It is also winner of an International Book Award, women's Issues category. Click here.

BEA offers the book industry access to new titles, authors, and education about the publishing industry. BEA is also a dynamic environment for networking, sourcing, and relationship building in the publishing industry in North America, and is the best place to discover new titles and meet face-to-face with favorite and up-and-coming authors.

"I am honored to have been extended this opportunity--along with other FAPA medalists--for national exposure of my title, 100+ Native American Women Who Changed the World", Schaller states.

The stellar collection of historical and contemporary Indigenous heritage women has been called "long overdue" by one reviewer.

KB Schaller contributes to East County Magazine, is author of Gray Rainbow Journey, winner of a National Best Books Award, Multicultural Fiction, its sequel, Journey by the Sackcloth Moon, and is currently working on Journey Through the Night's Door, third in the series.
