May 13, 2016 (Lemon Grove) - Chantella Matira Ferguson, 32, of Lemon Grove died May 9^th shortly after midnight at Scripps Memorial Hospital of injuries sustained when she was struck by a vehicle at 11:15 p.m. on May 7^th.

According to the County Medical Examiner, witnesses told San Diego Police that Ferguson abruptly stopped and exited her vehicle on Mission Bay Drive in San Diego and was struck by a sedan in the number two lane.

911 was called and she was transported to the hospital, where she died of multiple blunt force injuries.
