Girl hit by SUV El Cajon

September 23, 2016 (El Cajon) – A 14-year-old girl from El Cajon was struck by a Ford SUV near Sweetwater Reservoir last night around 10 p.m. Thursday night. The driver, 80, from Spring Valley was not cited.

The teen was jaywalking across Jamacha Blvd. mid-block near Grand Ave. when the accident occurred. She was transported to Children’s Hospital for treatment of a fractured skull, leg laceration and other injuries, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Kevin Pearlstein.
