KAISER PERMANENTE AZTEC FOR LIFE 5K SET FOR AUG. 27

June 8, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State and Kaiser Permanente have teamed to put on the Kaiser Permanente Aztec for Life 5K. The event is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 27, at Qualcomm Stadium.
“The Aztec for Life 5K is a great way for all San Diegans to get out, get active, and be healthy,” said Jane Finley, Senior Vice President and Area Manager Kaiser Permanente San Diego. “The Aztec for Life 5K brings together two organizations committed to building a healthy San Diego community, and Kaiser Permanente is proud to partner with San Diego State University on this great event.”
The 5K will commence at 7:30 a.m. and will be followed at 9:15 a.m. by a half-mile kids fun run. Both races finish on the Qualcomm Stadium field. An awards ceremony will conclude the event at 9:30 a.m.
Participants will also be able to enjoy the Kaiser Permanente Health Expo from 7:30-10:30 a.m. on the Qualcomm Stadium concourse.
General admission registration starts at $35 for the 5K and $15 for the kids fun run. The event is part of San Diego State’s Welcome Week. Students who are currently enrolled can participate for $15. Additionally, all participants will receive an SDSU-branded t-shirt and a finisher’s medal.
