VICTIMS IDENTIFIED IN TIERRASANTA SHOOTINGS

April 10, 2010 (Tierrasanta)—San Diego Police homicide detectives are investigating the shooting deaths of two men in a Tierrasanta apartment at 5325 Repecho Drove. Police arrived shortly after 1 a.m. after receiving a report of a fight and gunshots. They found four adults and a four-year-old boy in the apartment.

Ryan Louis West, 22, and Kamren Jarrell Halfacre, 19, died of gunshot wounds, the San Diego medical examiner reports. A woman also sustained a gunshot wound which is not life-threatening, according to police.

The apartment was owned by the woman and husband, who resided there with their young son. According to a preliminary investigation by police, the woman came home with two male acquaintances, West and Halfacre, along with the boy. One of the men argued with the woman’s husband, who then shot both of the men. The husband has been detained by authorities.

The case remains under investigation by San Diego Police.
