FOOTHILLS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH AND CHANCEL CHOIR SHARE HOLIDAY SPIRIT IN CONCERT DEC. 17
December 11, 2011 (La Mesa) -- Foothills United Methodist Church’s Chancel Choir will present its50th Annual Christmas Concert, “Lead Me Back to Bethlehem”, with two performancesat 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on December 17.
The concert is free with optional offering and open to the public. The concert takes place at Foothills United Methodist Church, 4031 Avocado Blvd., La Mesa CA 91941, in the Choir Room.
The Chancel Choir is a traditional worship choir. Foothills offers choir concerts with full symphony orchestra during the Christmas and Easter seasons, participation in community ecumenical services, and specially themed fun-family events, such as Choir Follies. Members of the choir have the opportunity for solo and ensemble work as well.
The Chancel Choir represents men and women from many different backgrounds and professions. They reflect a medley of unique lives and experiences and are brought together by their love for singing and their faith.
