October 7, 2018 (San Diego) - The politically correct can’t complain today; ECM Sports is bringing you both men’s and women’s soccer from SDSU.  Yesterday, Aztec football narrowly defeated the Broncos 19-13.  The lady Aztecs would try to hand the orange and blue a double weekend whammy in two different sports.

October 6, 2018 (Fresno) - The San Diego State swimming and diving team continued a successful performance at the Chick-fil-A Invitational hosted by Fresno State on Saturday morning, finishing the two-day meet in second place with 963 points, 476 points ahead of third-place finisher Fresno State. Last year’s national runner-up, California, took first place in the meet, claiming 1250 points over the two-day event.

October 4, 2018 (San Diego) - San Diego State baseball, winners of five of the last six Mountain West Championships, has released its 2019 schedule, it was announced Thursday morning. The Aztecs open their season on Feb. 15, 2019, with the opener of a three-game series against San Francisco. In addition to a 30-game conference schedule, notably, SDSU will host 2018 College World Series participant Texas Tech for a two-game series on March 5-6 and travel to defending national champion Oregon State on April 2-3.

October 2, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State volleyball team posted a .410 hitting percentage – the team’s best since Sept. 1, 2012 – to sweep crosstown foe San Diego, 25-15, 25-19, 25-23, at Peterson Gym on Tuesday night. The Aztecs snapped a five-match losing streak to Toreros, earning their first win against USD since 2012, while sweeping the Toreros for the first time since 1999. The Toreros entered tonight’s match receiving votes in the AVCA national rankings.
