November 15, 2012 (Santee) – On October 29, Sportsplex USA will made a donation to the Santee School District Foundation in the amount of $1410.00. Sportsplex USA and the Santee School District Foundation (SSDF) have partnered with the goal of offering affordable recreational youth indoor soccer programs to all parents and children in Santee. Since the partnership with the SSDF began in January, 2012, Sportsplex USA has donated $4,510 to the Foundation after three successful youth recreational soccer seasons.

The office is helping to raise funds to help Richards recover from a life-threatening accident that resulted in a skull fracture with major brain injuries. Only one team would come out of Friday night’s non-conference game victorious. And on this night, passing proved to be the difference. Behind by 24 unanswered points in the second half, Valhalla’s Norsemen surged forward to defeat the Mount Miguel Matadors 31-24.

September 19, 2012 (El Cajon) -- The City of El Cajon Recreation Department, together with Crest Kiwanis, present the annual ALL FORE R.E.C. Golf Tournament. The tournament will be held at the Sycuan Resort, 5485 Casino Way, El Cajon, on October 5. The station will provide live broadcasts of a "Game-of-the-Week" for the Grossmont District schools. The current agreement is for the 2012-2013 scholastic year. Since many members of the Stars are returning to college at this time, Stars owner/head coach Mickey Deutschman is seeking quality ballplayers -- former or current professional and independent league participants, players from colleges which have yet to begin its school year, and other experienced players -- to join the Stars for one of the world's best-known international baseball events.

Seaman, who has competed twice in the Olympics, is the coach for these three young athletes.

June 17, 2012 (Lemon Grove)—It was a sweet victory for Lemon Grove Firefighters Saturday night, when driver Joe Lavigne climbed out of his smashed-up vehicle to claim his department’s trophy. Lemon Grove entered two cars in the Firefighters’ Demolition Derby at the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar—and both made it into the final round.
