April 16, 2017 (Alberquerque) - San Diego State won its second straight on Sunday with a satisfying 4-2 triumph over New Mexico in a Mountain West dual match at McKinnon Family Tennis Stadium. With the victory, the Aztecs raise their record to 7-14 on the season and 3-3 in conference play, while the Lobos slip to 10-12 overall and 3-3 in the Mountain West.

March 29, 2017 (Rancho Sante Fe) - The San Diego State men’s tennis team stepped off campus for a non-conference dual match against No. 22 Stanford on Wednesday, but came up on the wrong side of a 4-0 decision at Rancho Santa Fe Tennis Club. With the loss, the Aztecs dropped their seventh in a row, falling to 5-12 on the year, while the Cardinal improve to 10-4 overall.

March 25, 2017 (Logan, Utah) - Seeking some relief from its season-long losing streak, the San Diego State men’s tennis team took to the road this weekend, but came up on the short end of a 4-1 decision at 42nd-ranked Utah State Saturday in a Mountain West dual match at Sports Academy & Racquet Club. With the defeat, the Aztecs drop their sixth in a row, falling to 5-11 overall and 1-1 in conference play, while the Aggies raise their record to 13-7 on the year and 1-0 in the MW.

March 17, 2017 (San Diego) -  San Diego State tried to right the ship in its second match of the San Diego Spring Break Tournament, but still encountered rough waters in a 4-1 defeat to Harvard in the consolation round Friday at Aztec Tennis Center. With the result, SDSU was unable to avoid its fourth loss in a row, falling to 5-9 on the year, while the Crimson improve to 9-7 overall.

March 16, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State opened the seventh annual San Diego Spring Break Tournament on a sour note Thursday, dropping a 4-0 decision to No. 25 Oregon at Aztec Tennis Center. SDSU was blanked for the third straight match, all by top 30 opponents, falling to 5-8 on the year, while the Ducks won their fourth in a row to raise their record to 12-2 overall.

With the setback, the Aztecs fall to 5-7 overall, while the Cowboys, boasting three nationally ranked singles players and two doubles tandems, won their fifth straight to improve to 13-3 on the season.

March 5, 2017 (San Diego) - The San Diego State men’s tennis team returned to the win-column Sunday with a 4-1 triumph over Boise State in the Mountain West opener for both squads at Aztec Tennis Center.  The Aztecs (5-5, 1-0 MW) captured a thrilling doubles point, before reeling off three victories in singles play to level their record on the year, while the Broncos (2-13, 0-1 MW dropped their seventh straight.

With the win, SDSU evens its record at 4-4 on the year, while the Gaels drop to 3-4 overall.

February 12, 2017 (San Diego) - For the second day in row, the San Diego State men’s tennis team had its fortunes hinge on the final singles match; however, the Aztecs suffered the opposite fate on Sunday, dropping a tough 4-3 decision to UC Davis in a non-conference dual at Aztec Tennis Center. With the setback, SDSU was unable to complete a weekend sweep, slipping to 3-4 overall, while the Aggies even their record at 3-3 on the season.

January 21, 2017 (San Diego) - The San Diego State men’s tennis team came up short in its home opener Saturday, falling to 20th-ranked Mississippi State by a 5-2 count at Aztec Tennis Center. The Aztecs (1-2) posted a pair of victories in singles play, but it wasn’t enough against the veteran Bulldogs (1-0), who returned the bulk of their lineup after advancing to the round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament a year ago.

With the victory, the Aztecs (1-0) captured their seventh straight season opener and improved to 12-2 against the Rainbow Warriors (0-1) since 1989.
