May 27, 2019 (Warner Springs) - Hawk Watch Winery has lost 25 cases of wine—300 bottles—in a freak accident near their Warner Springs Winery. The owners posted on Facebook that on May 16, while maneuvering a curve in State Route 79, packing material broke and the load slipped off, shattering the fruits of their labors.

The award-winning boutique winery just celebrated its 11th anniversary this month and is now encouraging wine lovers to come visit, make a purchase from their remaining vintages, and help the owners recoup their financial losses.

Hawk Watch’s tasting room perches atop a hill with panoramic views for guests to enjoy while savoring their local wines.

On local fan posted, “Nothing will bring back the awesome wine that was lost. All we can do is drink a toast to what was lost.”
