2 LIVE COMEDY EVENTS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR KNSJ RADIO JULY 15 AND 22

July 5, 2012 (San Diego’s East County)—Brew Ha HA comedians will host two live comedy events aimed at raising money to help a new radio station get on the air in East County.  KNSJ Radio, FM 89.1, has been approved for an FM license to broadcast from Descanso and also streaming live broadcasts online.  The network will focus on social justice issues while also providing an on-air forum to showcase community news, highlight local musicians’ works, and air local emergency alerts.   

Details on the events, which will be held at the Moxie Theatre, 6633 El Cajon Blvd. in San Diego July 15 and July 22, are as follows:          

Two Live Stand Up Comedy Events raising funds for the New KNSJ Radio Station through Activist San Diego, a 501c3  Non-profit organization.  KNSJ- FM 89.1 and Streaming live at KNSJ.org  

Eat, Drink, Laugh—and help the San Diego region give a voice to people who have been silenced in the past.  

Sunday July 15, 2012 - Stand Up Comedy “Sexy Funny Women” with International Comedian Diane Jean, Courtney Ca and more at the Moxie Theatre 8:00-9:30 p.m.

Sunday July 22, 2012  - Stand Up Comedy “A Post Pride Progressive After Party” featuring San Diego’s best LGBT Comedians Chet Sewell, Steve Kyle and more at the Moxie Theatre 7:00-8:30 p.m. 

Both nights will be filled with laughter, Mediterranean food, Magners Irish cider, opportunity drawings, and more.  The events will contain some adult material and language.
