October 8, 2012 – The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services has compiled a list of disaster apps and mobile optimized web pages in its Disaster Information Management Research Center. Most of the apps are available for both iPhone and Android devices.

The website is full of great information to have in case of disaster, including unique applications to reunite families that have been separated in a disaster.  The apps include everything from Medline and CDC to the American Red Cross and the National Weather Service.  The first aid apps include a Hands-Only CPR from the American Heart Association with quick instructions for CPR.
