SD LIBRARIES ACOUSTIC SHOWCASE CONCERT SERIES: MAY 2014 CONCERTS
April 26, 2014 (San Diego County) - The spring series of the San Diego County Library Acoustic Showcase continues in May with eight concerts taking place throughout the month!
The Acoustic Showcase series offers a wonderful variety of some of San Diego's very best singer/songwriters, folk music performers and story tellers. Willa Mamet Tuesday, May 6 - 6:30 p.m. Rancho San Diego Branch A mix of folk, country, Americana and grassy soul, Willa Mamet's music makes you feel like you're right at home. |
Sara Petite Saturday, May 10 - 2 p.m. Poway Branch Often described as Americana, Sara Petite's sound is an earthy fusion of folk, bluegrass, country and mountain music with surprising flashes of pop and rock. |
Lisa Sanders Saturday, May 17 - 2 p.m. El Cajon Branch Channeling the vocal strength of Chaka Khan and the dusty edge of Bonnie Raitt, Lisa Sanders belts out songs filled with world-weary experience and hope. |
