April 4, 2015 (City Heights)—A suspect is under arrest for suspected Arson in City Heights. The Metro Arson Strike Team announced the arrest of 24-year-old Rolando Resendiz.

Resendiz was seen walking away from a fire that was intentionally set on the porch of a home on Ogden Street. San Diego Fire-Rescue Crews swiftly doused the blaze, which caused $400 in damages.

Over a dozen other fires believed to be arson have occurred recently in City Heights, and detectives have found evidence linking Resendiz to two of those, 10 News reports.
