LINDO LAKES RESTORATION MEETING OCT. 14

October 7, 2015 (Lakeside)-- The first in a series of community meetings will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2015, regarding the planned restoration of the west basin of Lindo Lake.

From 6:30 to 8:30  p.m. a consultant  from County Parks and Recreation will be requesting community input on how to proceed with the restoration under the Lindo Lake Basin Improvement Project.  The meeting will be held at the Lakeside Community Center, 9841 Vine Street in Lakeside.

The report details potential issues that may need to be resolved with the restoration, ranging from noise and traffic, to methods of disposing of the silt which has filled in the Lake.  The outcome of the meetings will help clarify which issues will need to be fully evaluated in the future.
