November 7, 2016 (San Diego) -- The pop rock musical Jesus Christ Superstar will be presented at San Diego State University’s Don Powell Theater on December 1-4. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday plus a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

This explosive psychedelic concert with music by Andrew Lloyd Weber is a collaboration between the Schools of Theatre, Television, and Film and Music and Dance, telling a universally known Biblical story through the unusual perspective of Judas Iscariot. The performance features the SDSU Aztec Concert and Chamber Choirs, as well as the SDSU Symphony Orchestra.
