POSSIBLE ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT PARKWAY PLAZA IN EL CAJON

April 12, 2017 (El Cajon) – El Cajon Police has issued a bulletin warning that the department is investigating a report of an attempted abduction in the Walmart parking lot at Parkway Plaza.  A 3-year-old girl and her mother were walking to their vehicle yesterday between 12 noon and 1 p.m. when the attempted abduction occurred, said Lt. Royal Bates.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged Middle Eastern man, 6'-0" to 6'-3", 220-230 pounds with a pot belly, dirty blonde hair, a receding hair line and long toenails. The suspect was wearing a green shirt, tan shorts and black flip flops.

The department is reviewing surveillance cameras throughout the mall in hopes of locating video of the suspect.  If you witnessed this incident or have seen the suspect, please call the El Cajon Police Department at (619) 579-3311.
