HEAVY RAINS AND SNOW FORECAST LATER THIS WEEK

November 26, 2018 (San Diego’s East County) – The first substantial winter storm of the season is predicted for this week. The National Weather Service is forecasting rainfall of up to two inches and snow in the mountains Wednesday through Sunday, with the heaviest precipitation likely on Thursday.
Elevated fire conditions will continue today and tomorrow until the storm sweeps in. Fog is expected on Wednesday morning.
The storm will also bring high surf and hazardous conditions along the shore, with coastal flooding and beach erosion expected. Over the weekend, gusty west winds in mountains, deserts and coastal waters are predicted.
