KING ARTHUR FLOUR EXPANDS RECALL DUE TO E. COLI

October 7, 2019 (San Diego) – King Arthur Flour last week broadened an earlier recall in June due to e-coli contamination found at the ADM milling facility in Buffalo, New York. The 5-pound and 25-pound bags of unbleached all-purpose flower were distributed nationwide and online.
This is the third major flour brand recalled due to e-coli in the past several months.
Most of the King Arthur flour bags sold were labeled with UPC 071012010509 and the following use-by dates and codes:

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, symptoms of E.Coli infection may include stomach cramps, diarrhea, vomiting, or fever. The illness can be life-threatening, particularly in the very young, elderly, or those who are immune compromised.
