HAUNTED CIRCUS BRINGS THRILLS, CHILLS TO EL CAJON

October 21, 2024 (El Cajon) - The superheroes gathered at The Magnolia in El Cajon for the 2nd annual Haunted Circus. The event was organized by Twisted Orbit Circus Entertainment and included appearances by Captain America, Ghost Rider, Poison Ivy, Wonder Woman, and the duo Harley Quinn and the Joker.

The audience cheered on the performers as they took the stage to juggle, toss hoops, and display their acrobatic and contortion skills. First-time, attendee Lissa Cota described the show to be “mesmerizing and captivating.”  

Meanwhile, outside The Magnolia, kids gathered around the stage at Hauntfest and enjoyed a dance party as live Halloween music played.

Main Street El Cajon was filled with people waiting in line for the amusement rides, face painting, the rock wall and the candy trail. There was also a variety of snack options available such as nachos and ice cream, as well as many booths available to check out. 

Everywhere you turned there were both children and adults in costumes showing off their Halloween spirit. It was an event for families, friends and solo attendees. Maria Morales has been attending the annual event for years by herself because she enjoys the environment and looking at everyone's costumes.
