November 20, 2010 (Spring Valley) –The Steele Canyon Youth Flag Cheerleaders won first place at the San Diego Youth Football and Cheer Competition at the San Diego Sports Arena on November 14.

The youngsters, ages 5-7, were cheered on by head coach Megan Chambers.

The girls wowed the crowd with tumbling sequences, including several back hand springs. Steele Canyon Youth Pee Wee, Jr. Pee Wee, and Jr. Midget placed 2nd in their division. Next up, the team heads to Anaheim for the Jamz competition on November 21st.
