MADE IN AMERICA: GALLERY HIGHLIGHTS U.S. ART POTTERY & PAINTINGS IN JULY

July 4, 2011 (La Mesa) – O’Dunn Fine Art gallery is celebrating our nation’s 236th birthday all month long by showcasing collector-grade American-made pottery as well as paintings.
Besides savoring the fine art works displayed, guests can celebrate the gallery’s gift to buyers—no sales tax charged during July.
Pottery includes early 20th century Rookwood, Van Briggle, Weller, and Roseville Monticello to harmonize with antiques in your home, or provide sophisticated counterpoint to modern décor. The pottery items, which are for sale, include hand-decorated pieces, production pots, and a few rarer items for collectors.
Also on display are moody urban scenes of San Diego painted by mid-century American artist Wade Cline. Portrayed at dusk, his images of rainy streets, eateries and urban architecture capture the effects of diffusing fog and the last rays of sunlight as shadows descend at day's end.
O’Dunn Fine Art is located at 8325 La Mesa Blvd. in La Mesa, California. For more information, visit www.odunnfineart.com .
