January 4, 2011 (Scripps Ranch) –A man in his 40s has been transported to a hospital with fractured vertebrae following an accident on Scripps Lake Drive yesterday.

The man was driving his 2007 BMW motorcycle westbound when he made a left hand turn in front of another motorcycle, according to San Diego Police. His injuries do not appear life-threatening, said Officer J. Jacobsen.
