April 3, 2018 (Lake Elsinore) - San Diego State starting pitcher Harrison Pyatt took a no-hitter bid into the eighth inning before surrendering his first and only hit of the game in SDSU baseball's  5-1 victory over Long Beach State at Lake Elsinore Diamond on Tuesday night. SDSU earns its 20th win of the season and improves to 20-9 overall, while LBSU drops to 11-18 on the season.

April 2, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State baseball team erased a pair of deficits in a 6-4 victory over Washington on Monday afternoon. SDSU improves to 19-9 on the year while Washington drops to 13-12.

Justin Goossen-Brown logged another successful start for the Aztecs, going 5.1 innings on the mound for SDSU, allowing just one earned run and four hits allowed.

March 31, 2018 (San Diego) - Behind a stellar performance from San Diego State right-handed pitcher Garrett Hill, the No. 23/23 San Diego State baseball team defeated New Mexico, 3-2, at Tony Gwynn Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Aztecs now stand at 18-9 on the 2018 campaign with a 7-4 conference mark, while New Mexico slips to 12-13-1 with a 6-6 MW record.

March 30, 2018 (San Diego) - The No. 23/23 San Diego State baseball team dropped a 9-5 decision against New Mexico on Friday night, handing the Aztecs their first series loss of the 2018 season. The Aztecs fall to 17-9 (6-4 Mountain West) while the Lobos improve to 12-12-1 (6-5 Mountain West).

March 27, 2018 (Long Beach) - The No. 23/23 San Diego State baseball team improved to 17-7 on the year after defeating Long Beach State, 5-2, at Blair Field on Tuesday night. The Aztecs are now 8-2 in their last 10 games while Long Beach State falls to 10-15 on the 2018 campaign.

March 27, 2018 (San Diego) - Redshirt junior designated hitter Chad Bible of the San Diego State baseball team was named Mountain West Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon. For the week, Bible went 9-for-19 (.474) with three home runs, a double, and seven RBIs to help push SDSU to a 3-1 showing a week ago.

March 25, 2018 (Las Vegas) - The San Diego State baseball team exploded for 22 runs and 23 hits in a 22-7 drubbing of UNLV on Sunday, leaving the Aztecs with its fifth consecutive weekend series win and now have sole possession of second place in the Mountain West, sitting just a half-game back of Nevada (7-2 MW), which defeated Fresno State earlier today. The Aztecs improve to 16-7 on the year (6-2 MW), while UNLV falls to 20-5 (6-3 MW).

March 24, 2018 (Las Vegas) - The San Diego State baseball team used a season-high 17 runs to defeat UNLV, 17-8, at Earl E. Wilson Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Aztecs now even the weekend series heading into tomorrow’s rubber game and improve to 15-7 (5-2 MW), while the Rebels fall to 20-4 (6-2 MW).

March 20, 2018 (San Diego) - Dean Nevarez’s walk-off single with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning sealed the No. 25 San Diego State baseball team’s 5-4 victory over CSU Bakersfield on Tuesday night. Through 20 games, the SDSU baseball team now sits at 14-6 on the year, while CSU Bakersfield falls to 9-13.

March 20, 2018 (San Diego) - San Diego State infielder Jordan Verdon was named Mountain West Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. The honor comes a day after Verdon was named Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week.

March 19, 2018 (San Diego) - San Diego State infielder Jordan Verdon was named one of nine Collegiate Baseball's National Players of the Week, it was announced Monday morning

In San Diego State's week, which featured a 3-1 record over four road games, Verdon hit .471 (8-for-17) with six doubles and nine RBI. In each of the four games, Verdon recorded at least two hits, one RBI, and one extra-base hit.

March 11, 2018 (San Diego) - The No. 25 San Diego State baseball team claimed a series win against Mountain West foe Air Force by splitting with the Falcons at Tony Gwynn Stadium on Sunday. After the Falcons won the first game 7-3, SDSU responded with a 3-2 victory in the nightcap. The Aztecs are now 10-5 overall and 4-1 in the Mountain West, while Air Force is 5-10 on the season with a 1-2 conference mark.

March 9, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State baseball team stayed unbeaten in Mountain West play on Friday night, defeating Air Force, 3-2, at Tony Gwynn Stadium. The Aztecs up its record to 9-4 on the year with a 3-0 mark in MW action, while Air Force falls to 4-9 after its MW-opener loss.

February 27, 2018 (Irvine) - The San Diego State baseball fell to UC Irvine, 9-4, at Anteater Ballpark on Tuesday night. The Aztecs head into next weekend’s conference series with a 6-3 record, while UC Irvine improves to 6-2 on the year.

February 25, 2018 (San Diego) - Aztecs baseball is 2-1 in the Tony Gwynn Legacy.  Today they played their fourth game in the annual tournament in a Sunday matinee against Grand Canyon University.  Junior transfer Garrett Hill started for the Aztecs against Jake Repavich for Grand Canyon.

February 24, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State baseball team fell victim to a three-run ninth inning, suffering a 5-2 setback against No. 4 Arkansas on Saturday night in the Tony Gwynn Legacy at Tony Gwynn Stadium.  The Aztecs fall to 4-2 on the season, while the fourth-ranked Razorbacks improve to 5-1 in 2018.

February 24, 2018 (San Diego) - Jacob Maekawa’s run on a wild pitch thrown by Arizona reliever Tylor Megill handed the San Diego State baseball team a 3-2, 10-inning win in SDSU’s opening game of the Tony Gwynn Legacy at Tony Gwynn Stadium Friday night. The Aztecs improve to 4-1 on the young season, while Arizona dips to 3-2 on the year.

February 20, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State baseball suffered a 3-2 setback against crosstown foe San Diego on Tuesday night at Tony Gwynn Stadium, falling victim to a 10th-inning RBI double by USD’s Dante Gutierrez. The Aztecs fall to 3-1 on the young 2018 season, while USD jumps above .500 at 3-2.

February 17, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State baseball team continued a successful start to the 2018 season Saturday night, defeating UC Santa Barbara, 8-4, at Tony Gwynn Stadium Saturday night.

Chase Calabuig paced the offense with a 3-for-5 day, hitting the Aztecs' first home run of the season and a double. Chad Bible had a two-out, bases clearing triple to give the Aztecs a 8-4 lead in the top of the sixth.

February 16, 2018 (San Diego) - The San Diego State baseball team kicked off its 2018 campaign in commanding fashion, defeating UC Santa Barbara, 9-1, on Friday night at Tony Gwynn Stadium.

Logan Boyer, a preseason all-MW selection, impressed in his first start of the season, going 3.2 innings with a career-high eight strikeouts. After Boyer started his evening inducing a 6-3 groundout, Boyer went on to strikeout the next four Gaucho hitters he faced.

November 3, 2016 (Cleveland) - Well, actually, that's not entirely true.  The goat was apparently at Progressive Field in Cleveland throughout the entire game.

But tonight, he had no effect.  The Cubs fought their way through the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers.

But none of that mattered anymore.  It all came down to fighting through the team who led the AL Central for most of the season, the Cleveland Indians.  The Indians fought through the Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays.  Both teams had been through probably a bloodier battle than every battle in the Civil War combined in their leagues.

JAMUL LITTLE LEAGUE TO HAVE TRYOUTS AND REGISTRATION ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 26TH

January 16, 2012 (Jamul)--The League will have tryouts on Saturday, January 26th starting at 9am for players ages 7-14.  There will also be registration for boys and girls ages 5-14.
