February 25, 2017 (Newport Beach, Calif.) - No. 12 San Diego State earned a 10-8 victory on Saturday afternoon vs. 20th-ranked Loyola Marymount at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational in Newport Beach. The Aztecs improved to 5-6 on the season with one game left in the tournament to be played on Sunday.

February 25, 2017 (San Diego) - SDSU women’s basketball returned home after some tough losses on the road against UNLV and Fresno State.  Today at home against the Colorado State Rams was their chance to turn things around.  The Aztecs wore pink on their jerseys today in their annual Play4Kay game to benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.  Yow was the former head coach of North Carolina State women's basketball before she passed away from breast cancer in January of 2009.

After claiming the doubles point, the Sun Devils defeated the Aztecs across the board in singles, with one match left unfinished.

February 25, 2017 (Cathedral City, Calif.) - The San Diego State softball team opened up its play in the prestigious Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic with a split against a pair of 2016 NCAA tournament teams Friday night in Cathedral City, Calif. The Aztecs (5-5) first run-ruled Oklahoma State 17-5 in six innings before falling to No. 1/1 Florida State 6-4 in the nightcap.

February 25, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State baseball played their first game in the second annual Tony Gwynn Baseball Classic tonight against the University of Tennessee.  The Classic was originally supposed to last until Sunday, but due to inclement weather, it has been reduced to Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with UC Irvine opening the tournament against the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame on Thursday night.  Senior lefty Brett Seeburger got the start for the Aztecs against another southpaw, junior Zach Warren for Tennessee.  The Volunteers faced Seton Hall earlier in the day.

February 24, 2017 (San Diego) - After a 12-day hiatus, the San Diego State men’s tennis team showed no rust on Friday, posting an impressive 6-1 victory over Saint Mary’s in a non-conference dual match at Aztec Tennis Center. With the win, SDSU evens its record at 4-4 on the year, while the Gaels drop to 3-4 overall.

February 21, 2017 (La Quinta, Calif.) - The San Diego State men’s golf team remains in a third-place tie after shooting a 5-over-par 289 on Tuesday during the second round of The Prestige at PGA West.  The Aztecs vaulted into the lead midway through the day, opening up a six-shot advantage at one point, before slipping back into the third position at 3-over 571, along with Iowa State.
