July 29, 2023 (San Diego) - The Padres had a stunning big win last night over the Rangers. They tried for the series tonight against Martin Perez for Texas against Yu Darvish.

The Padres had a big second inning. With the bases loaded, Luis Campusano hit a bloop to right that scored Manny Machado. Gary Sanchez walked, allowing Xander Bogaerts to score. Ha-Seong Kim singled to score two and the Friars coasted to a 4-0 series win.

UP NEXT

The rubber game is tomorrow at 1:10 p.m. A pitcher to be named starts for the Rangers against Blake Snell.
