April 8, 2019 (El Cajon) - Grossmont College women's tennis sealed the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Championship after its final conference match against Southwestern College April 4, 2019. The Griffin women defeated the Jaguars 9-0 and arrived home with their seventh consecutive conference title.

Head coach Megan Haber states, "We have such a great group of girls this year!"

This spring season women's tennis went 15-2 overall, and 12-0 in conference with 9-0 sweeps over Mt. San Jacinto (March 26), Palomar (March 14) and Southwestern Colleges (April 4).

Sophomore returners contributing to conference championship include Madelein Liljekvist, Grossmont High alums Alycia Franklin and Jillian Kan, Katrinna Jasso, Alejandra Becerra and West Hills alum Tila Whitaker.

The women head into the first round of dual team championships Tuesday, April 9 against Orange Coast College at 2:00 p.m. (at OCC).
