April 19, 2023 (San Diego) - Today was just a gimme game as the Padres were dismantled by the Braves in this series. Charlie Morton started for Atlanta against Nick Martinez.

Juan Soto finally broke through with a solo homer in the fourth and the Padres, ironically, took the final game in the series with a 1-0 win.

UP NEXT

It’s back on the road for the weekend as the Padres go to Arizona for four games. Game one tomorrow is at 6:40 p.m. Michael Wacha starts against Ryne Nelson for the Diamondbacks.
