July 27, 2021 (San Diego) - The Padres are back home and as much as they love the National League, they were ready to take a break from it for two days and welcome the Athletics for a short two-game series.  James Kaprielian started tonight’s game one for Oakland against Chris Paddack.

July 25, 2021 (Miami) - Yesterday was an incredibly frustrating day for the Padres; the umps were not on their side and the Marlins ruined their chances of a sweep.  But they still had a chance to take the series today with Yu Darvish on the mound against John Curtiss for Miami.

July 24, 2021 (Miami) - The Padres have been enjoying their time in Miami, taking two games from the Marlins so far.  They looked to take the series tonight with Ryan Weathers on the mound against Braxton Garrett for the Marlins.

July 22, 2021 (Miami) - The Padres couldn’t play a lot in Atlanta due to rain (cue Californians asking “what’s rain?”).  Hopefully a weekend in sunny Miami would do the trick and allow them to play baseball.  Blake Snell started against Jordan Holloway for Miami.

July 21, 2021 (Atlanta) - The Padres and Braves finally got to start their series yesterday and the Braves coasted to an easy 2-1 win.  Today the two teams played a split doubleheader. Chris Paddack started in game one of the doubleheader against Kyle Muller for the Braves.

July 20, 2021 (Atlanta) - The Padres’ euphoria at 24 runs in Washington was cut short by a shooting on Saturday night, so they were grateful to get out of Washington and head south to Atlanta.  Yesterday’s game was postponed by rain, so Yu Darvish started tonight’s game one against Touki Toussaint for the Braves.

July 18, 2021 (Washington, D.C.) - We don’t think anything can top Friday night’s win, not even for the rest of the season.  But if we know our Padres, they keep trying to set records, so they tried again last night.  Blake Snell started against ex-Diamondback Patrick Corbin for the Nats.

July 16, 2021 (Washington, D.C.) - The Padres are back in action today for the second half of the season and they’re in our nation’s capital for the weekend for three games with the Nationals.  Chris Paddack started tonight’s game one against Erick Fedde for the Nationals.  And what happened next was unbelievable.

July 4, 2021 (Philadelphia) - The Padres were not having a happy Fourth of July weekend; they came into today’s game having lost three straight.  So today’s game was just a fun game on our nation’s birthday to see if they could win.  Blake Snell, fresh off being reinstated from the IL, started against Vince Velasquez for the Phillies.

July 2, 2021 (Cincinnati) - The Padres opened July coming off of an epic Trent Grisham grand slam that gave them the series.  They looked to complete the sweep tonight with Ryan Weathers on the mound against Luis Castillo for the Reds.

June 22, 2021 (San Diego) - Last night was a memorable night for Yu Darvish as he became the first pitcher in MLB history to reach 1,500 strikeouts in under 200 games.  And the Padres got the win on top of it.  They tried to take the series tonight against Clayton Kershaw on the mound for L.A. against Blake Snell.
