March 23, 2012 (Los Angeles) -- It looks like Simon Fuller has another hit on his hands. He owes his reputation to groups like the Spice Girls, albums by stars such as Annie Lennox, Carrie Underwood,  Daughtry, Amy Winehouse, Adam Lambert, and franchise shows such as American Idol, and So You Think You Can Dance.

This time, Fuller has chosen to create and produce ¡Q’Viva! The Chosen that has as its goal to go to the core of Latin America to discover the most authentic, genuine and talented entertainers. Leading the journey are superstar artists, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, and director, Jamie King. Between the three of them, they have traveled to 21 different Latin American countries, and areas. The acts were chosen go to Los Angeles for further screening, and then to Las Vegas to appear in a show, ¡Q'Viva! The Chosen.

The reviews about the show are mixed, and the U.S. audience (In English) is not as big as they would like. However, the show is hugely popular in Latin America.

To get the full flavor of ¡Q'Viva! The Chosen, see the video used to announce the show.

As you can see in the video, the show began in January. Now it has selected the acts that will be used for the show. The television show is on Fox TV on Saturday March 24 at 8:00 , and on Univision at the same time. The Univision version is mostly in Spanish so the acts are shown speaking more about their experiences. Personally, I thought it was a better show.

Another way to fully experience ¡Q'Viva! The Chosen is to follow the show on Facebook. The page is mostly in Spanish, and has participation from thousands of people. You can also follow the show on YouTube and Twitter.

The YouTube channel for the show is http://www.youtube.com/qviva
To follow the show on Twitter go to https://twitter.com/#!/qviva

Overall, I see this program as a one of a kind show, an original. As a former Spanish teacher, I see it as required homework for those wanting to learn Spanish. For students from elementary to College, the show is highly motivational for learning in a current, cultural environment.
