16 ALVARADO HOSPITAL PHYSICIANS NAMED TOP DOCTORS

According to San Diego Magazine’s Annual Special Issue

 
September 27, 2011 San Diego, CA Alvarado Hospital Medical Center has 16 physicians in 11 specialties named "Top Doctors" in the annual San Diego Magazine "Physicians of Exceptional Excellence" survey done collaboratively with the San Diego County Medical Society.
 
 
 
"Congratulations to these Alvarado Hospital medical staff members for being named to the 2011 Top Doctors list," said Peter Adamo, Alvarado Hospital administrator. "For a community hospital, we have one of the most distinguished medical staffs in the area. We are pleased to see the quality of our physicians recognized by the San Diego County Medical Society and these physicians' peers.”
 
These physicians were rated among the best in San Diego County according to the magazine:

Dr. Michael Butera, Infectious Disease
Dr. Bridgette Duggan, Obstetrics & Gynecology
Dr. George Fadda, Internal Medicine, Nephrology
Dr. Kuljinder Grewal, Ophthalmology
Dr. Charles Kossman, Oncology
Dr. Steven Kossman, Oncology
Dr. Ralph Lee, Family Medicine
Dr. Perry Mansfield, Otolyngology
Dr. John Marino, Internal Medicine
Dr. Curtis McGuyer, Pathology
Dr. Ravindra Prabhu, Cardiac Electrophysiology

In addition, Dr. John Finkenberg, an orthopedic surgeon with Alvarado Hospital, was featured in the magazine his artwork. He creates bronze sculptures, two of which are modeled on surgeons’ hands.
