Proceeds to Benefit Hospital’s Future Heart and Vascular Center

November 2, 2012 La Mesa). –  The Grossmont Hospital Foundation hosts its 27th Annual Gala on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. The Gala is the largest fundraising event of the year benefiting Sharp Grossmont Hospital’s services and programs. Proceeds will support a new, state-of-the-art heart and vascular center at the hospital.

"Over the past 27 years, the Gala has raised more than $3.3 million for our hospital," says Michele Tarbet, Senior Vice President and CEO of Sharp Grossmont Hospital. "We would not be able to offer the community our breadth of advanced technologies and services -- such as robotic surgery, women's services, cancer center and emergency and critical care -- without the Foundation and the support it receives from our physicians, staff, community, and civic leaders."

This year’s Gala, themed “Heart of Rock ‘n’ Roll”, features a festive evening of dinner, dancing and live and silent auctions. Event co-chairs for the event are Connie Conard and Ruth Simpson.
