January 1, 2009 (Santee) — The East County Family YMCA wants to help kick start
your exercise program in the New Year with their 12-Week Personal Fitness Program.
The program is designed for the beginning exerciser or anyone who has been
away from exercise for awhile as well as those individuals who are looking
for guidance and structure in order to successfully begin a regular exercise
program. The program is unique to the YMCA of San Diego County and includes
both cardiovascular and strength training exercises.

As part of the 12-Week Personal Fitness Program, certified trainers evaluate
the perfect level for the individual's ability and then monitor the progress
making step by step progressions along the way. The program aims to help individuals
stick with their resolution and get into shape regardless of age or fitness
level.

The program is free and only available to YMCA members at the Davis Family
YMCA in La Mesa and Cameron Family YMCA in Santee. To learn more about the
East County Family YMCA and the 12-week program, (619) 449-9622  or visit www.eastcounty.ymca.org.
