4.5 QUAKE RATTLES SOUTHERN CALIFONIA

May 8, 2018 (Cabazon) – If you awoke early this morning, you may have felt the earth move under your feet.  It wasn’t a bad dream.  A 4.5 earthquake struck at 4:49 a.m. 6.8 miles north of Cabazon, located about 20 miles northwest of Palm Springs in east Riverside County.

The quake was measured at 8.6 miles below the earth’s surface, the U.S. Geological Survey reports.

Many small aftershocks have also been reported. There are no immediate reports of damage.

A HARBINGER...

...of more earthquakes? Been through several large ones in my life. Unnerving to say the least! I can only imagine, and shudder at the thought of what the predicted "BIG ONE" will be like. The damage it's going to inflict upon California will be something to behold.
