September 16, 2011 (Rancho San Diego, CA) The Heritage of the Americas Museum, located on the campus of Cuyamaca College in Rancho San Diego, is holding a huge benefit sale to support the Museums programs for local elementary school children. Sales run from now through October 8.
 

Over 4,000 students come to the Museum each school year for docent-ledtours. Volunteers also make presentations in school classrooms. Items for sale are donated by Museum members, over 300 households. The sale is ongoing in five categories including: art, jewelry, gems and minerals, fossils, and rummage sales, with members bringing in donated items daily. Members of the community are also welcome to bring in donations for the sale.
