January 13, 2016 (San Diego) - The nationally recognized youth soccer club Albion SC Pros is coming to San Diego!  The new league is part of the National Premier Soccer League's (NSPL) Western Conference and will be for former Albion SC players, youth players who want to develop inside the team, or for any soccer players living in San Diego that want to come out and play.

This is the first time that the organization is offering professional opportunities for beyond the under 18 and 19-year-old age group.  Founded in 1981, Albion SC Pros is one of the top youth soccer clubs in California, San Diego and the United States.  They are comprised of more than 110 youth teams in South Florida and Orange County.  They've won 15 regional championships, have appeared in seven national championships and are developing more than 15 players for the US national team.  Over the last decade, they've produced more than eight million dollars in scholarship offerings.

In 2011, Albion was named one of the top 30 clubs in the United States by Soccer America.  In 2013, they were recognized by the US Development Academy as one of the top performing clubs in the States.

The team will play its first season in San Diego from March to July 2016.  The last tryout before the season starts will be January 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Robb Field, 2525 Bacon St., San Diego 92107.  The cost is $55 and includes an Albion SC Pros t-shirt.
