September 23, 2014 (San Diego) – Today is National Voter Registration Day and marks six weeks until the November election.

On the heels of the lowest voter participation ever in the city, Alliance San Diego has announced that it is launching “Vote for San Diego,” a major non-partisan voter mobilization effort aimed at increasing turnout among infrequent voters.

The campaign intends to appeal to all community members to strengthen participation in our democracy including Vote for San Diego posters, lawn signs and stickers as dozens of canvassers prepare to distribute materials to voters across our region.
