May 2, 2019 (Ramona) -- A new, one-of-a-kind immersive arts festival is coming to Ramona this summer and will provide attendees the opportunity to explore hands-on creative activities.

Sponsors of the event are the non-profit organizations 2Create Gallery and The Art Center of Ramona, both located at 438 Main St., Ramona, Calif.

“Collaborators” are ready to share their talents with festival attendees and bring fun activities including:

  • Art Apothecary Store - Approach the idea of the "Creative Genius" through humor: Reverend Hel has just what you need!
  • Solar Viewing & Stargazing - Explore our nearest star and gain awareness of the night sky! Learn how to locate, observe and understand sun spots, solar flares and our relationship with the cosmos.
  • Karate Robot - Karate Robot, a board-breaking "robot", represents an opportunity for participants to experience themselves in a new way. Participants literally break through limiting beliefs and get to know themselves as powerful!
  • Banjo Sing Along – According to musician Warren Bacon , “Singing promotes good health.”
  • Wire Bending & Fused Glass - Lyn Feudner shows attendees how to bend and shape wire to create beautiful 3-dimensional art!
  • Recycled Art – Make recycled art hats & play the kazoo with Marsha Cook!
  • Permaculture at Sweet Spot Farm - Connect with nature and your local ecology through a guided farm tour experience. Learn about native plants, herbs, soil ecology, regenerative agriculture, permaculture, and more.
  • More collaborators coming soon!

The first 100 tickets will be $15, then $20, and can be purchased at www.AnomarFestival.com starting in mid-April. In addition, t-shirts that attendees can decorate at our t-shirt station will also be available for purchase while supplies last.

Anomar will take place on June 29th, 2019 from 12 to 8 p.m. at Begent Ranch, 18528 Highland Valley Road, Ramona, Calif.
