“Passport to the Future” brings together La Mesa, Santee and East County Chamber for business showcase on September 23

August 20, 2010 (San Diego's East County) -- Applications are now available for the East County’s largest Business Showcase and Expo to be held on Thursday, September 23 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Elk’s Lodge, 1400 E. Washington Avenue, El Cajon, 92019.

“This event has proven to be highly successful on several levels – not the least of which is allowing businesses the opportunity to market their products and services in a unique setting,” said Mike Cully, President & CEO of the San Diego East County Chamber or Commerce. “This year we’ve added another component: complimentary workshops on effective use of social media and building a strong client base to enhance the experience of both the exhibitors and the attendees.”

In past years, hundreds of businesses have availed themselves of the opportunity to be part of this event.

The business expo is a collaborative effort of the Santee, La Mesa and San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce. Its intent is to encourage not only viable B2B opportunities, but also to encourage the public to learn more about the robust businesses that call the East County home.

The general public is encouraged to attend and admission is free. Exhibitors may apply for a booth, by contacting the Santee Chamber of Commerce, the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce or the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce at (619) 440-6161,
