ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING IN POWAY: SHERIFF SEEKS PUBLIC HELP TO FIND SUSPECT

August 10, 2010 (Poway) –San Diego Sheriff seeks public help to locate a man who reportedly grabbed the arm of a 17-year-old walking her dogs in Poway last night and attempted to pull her behind a laundry building adjacent to a dog park.

 

Around 10 p.m., the girl was walking her dogs through the Countryside Apartment complex located at 12572 Oak Knoll Road in Poway. The victim reached the dog park in the rear of the apartment complex when the assailant grabbed her. He fled after the girl’s dogs came to her aid. He was last seen entering the passenger side of a dark colored 4-door sedan.

 

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, late 20 to early 30 years of age, 5’09” tall, medium build, with no facial hair. He wore a beanie and was dressed in a white t-shirt, and dark colored pants.
