April 24, 2015 (El Cajon ) --An El Cajon mother is heartbroken after thieves stole her baby daughter’s cremated ashes.
Lori Palsrok was staying temporarily with her fiancé at a campsite in El Cajon while waiting to move into their new place next week, 10 News reports. She had belongings in a storage unit, including her wedding dress and a laundry basket full of clothes. Beneath the clothes, she had hidden a hand-decorated white box with her daughter’s ashes inside.
The tearful mother issued a plea on Channel 10 News, asking the thief to please not throw away the ashes of her daughter, Alahnni Nicole, a premature baby who died in 2003. The box has Alahnni’s name on it, as well as the crematorium’s phone number.
Anyone who finds the box is asked to please turn it in at a police station, fire station, library or other place where Palsrok can claim the box and its precious contents.
