December 21, 2011 (Kensington) --  Chef/Owner Ken Irvine of the Bleu Boheme invites you to celebrate a festive "Vielle de Noel" Christmas Eve with a three-course meal, with three choices in each course for $45 per person, Saturday, December 24, 2011. Bleu Boheme is located at 4090 Adams Avenue, San Diego CA 92116, in the Kensington area (between Terrace Drive and Kensington Drive).

The menu is made up mostly of French foods that have become familiar America standards; it is a neighborhood restaurant offering an excellent French menu, with both traditional and seasonal items that change depending on the availability of the ingredients. Serving a selection of wines by the glass, as well as, French wines by the bottle. It is casual with a great atmosphere.

A rustic yet chic restaurant-wine bar, with an ever-changing wine list, it has a chalkboard menu where the chef writes down the daily specials. The prix fixe option is especially popular with the locals. Despite its upscale cuisine, the feeling is casual.

This boisterous bistro is known for its mussels, meat and cheese platters, and French onion soup; plus; platters of French meats and pates are nice starters. The mussels with various sauces and Beef Bourguignon are so tender it melts on your fork with organic baby veggies. A nice representative of France in Southern California.
