April 13, 2014 (San Diego’s East County) – Drug smugglers have been using ultralight aircraft to smuggle narcotics over the border.  The U.S. Border Patrol asks the public to report sightings of suspicious ultralight aircraft.

An ultralight aircraft sounds like a motorcycle and may be spotted 24 hours a day, but often operate at night.

If you see one,  the U.S. Border Patrol asks you to report it by calling 619-498-9900.
